Okechukwu Okonkwo is an astute financial expert, and vastly experienced in marketing and business development. He has broad executive management experience across various industries, winning multiple awards for excellence and outstanding performance.

He manages business relationships with key individual and corporate customers, while maintaining oversight for strategic planning, market expansion and deals origination. Noted for his tenacity, he has a high sense of innovation and deep knowledge of the market.

Prior to joining BVA, he trained as an auditor with the accounting firm of Adi Ekwenugo & Company (Chartered Accountants) where he successfully led many audit assignments. He was previously a Relationship Manager at United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC, as well as Accounts Supervisor at Coscharis BMW.

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic Oko, as well as a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
