Mr. Ifeanyi Ezeanya is a thoroughbred banking professional with a strong academic background.

He obtained a First-Class degree in Economics from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), as well as a Master of Science (MSc.) Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Mr. Ezeanya is a highly sought-after resource person and has held several key industry leadership positions in Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, Regulatory Reforms and Banking Supervision, with over 30 years of working experience obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Fidelity Bank PLC, BVA Partners, among others. Prior to joining BVA Partners, he was Group Head of Compliance at Fidelity Bank PLC and was instrumental to the many giant strides attained by the Bank in the Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance space.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), as well as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI), Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ACMR), Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (ACIP), Institute of Credit and Risk Management of Nigeria (AICRM), among others. He was appointed to the Board in March 2024.
